we are the green church in Columbia, Louisiana
For over a 100 years we have been Christ's body in the heart of Caldwell Parish. Our mission is to live as followers of Christ in this community. We do this through our liturgy(worship), our life(discipleship), and our service(mission).
Our Worship Service is at 11:00 AM every Sunday morning
Sunday School for all ages is at 9:45 AM every Sunday morning
We have coffee, breakfast, and fellowship at 10:45 AM every Sunday morning
we are orthodox in our beliefs
We affirm our belief in historic Christianity as revealed in the Scriptures and summarized in the three Creeds (the Apostles, the Nicene, and the Athanasian) and the Thirty-Nine Articles.
we are intentional about our worship
Liturgy means the work of the people. Our worship is communal. We sing together, we pray together, we proclaim our faith together, we read scripture together, we confess together, we celebrate together around the common table of Holy Communion.
we are passionate abour our discipleship
We want to live as followers of Christ every day of the week, so we are commited to growing in our faith through daily prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.
we are blessed to serve our neighbors
We are Christ's body in Caldwell Parish so we want to serve our community as followers of Jesus. Through our Food Pantry, Angel Tree, and partnership with area schools we make an impact in our community.
